The establishment Republicans are frightened that Mike, or anybody, that they do not have in their pocket will have any success. With the prospect of a brokered convention, every delegate will count. Mike has been dependent on generating “free” media and generally good debate performances. By limiting his access, as this article points out, they are preventing Mike’s message from getting out. That’s why this blog, call-in talk radio, etc. and grassroots activity are our only hope.
MIKE DID NOT LOSE IN SOUTH CAROLINA !!! OTHER CANDIDATES HAVE THEIR SECOND PLACE FINISHES REPORTED AS “SILVER” OR “SECOND-PLACE FINISH,” ETC. BUT MIKE’S FINISH IS ALMOST ALWAYS REPORTED AS “HIS DISAPPOINTING SOUTH CAROLINA LOSS,.” OR SOME SIMILAR HEADLINE. AMONG REPUBLICANS, BUT NOT CROSSOVER INDEPENDENTS AND DEMOCRATS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SC PRIMARY (This is another reason that control of your state and local party apparatus in between elections is so important.), HE EASILY WON. IN TERMS OF VOTES PER CAMPAIGN DOLLAR, HE BEAT ALL OTHER COMPETITORS COMBINED !!!
