Florida’s primary results yesterday were unlike South Carolina’s –  where we wanted to win and expected to win.  Florida was a clear loss for those of us who wanted to put Mike in the Oval Office in 2008.

In South Carolina, Mike’s second place finish with Thompson still in the race and making his best showing ever, combined to give us a “silver” (in Romney-speak) that legitimately could be “framed” as a political victory for us.  Unfortunately, we (as grassroots Huckabee supporters predominantly in Florida) did not handle the South Carolina primary results correctly.  When the mainstream press mischaracterized Mike’s South Carolina finish as a “disappointing loss,” we should have responded with press releases that countered, what eventually became, “conventional wisdom” in Florida.  Signs and banners that would have caught the news cameras attention, etc. would have been grassroots tactics that we could have employed.  We failed our Grassroots Politics 101 midterm. 

In any event, the good news is that we have a chance to redeem ourselves — on the final examination that will come during the Republican Party’s national convention.  Our grade will be determined by the number of delegates that Mike has going into the convention.  Just because the Florida primary is over, we cannot afford a siesta.  For example,  Diana Hernandez’ picked up on an item from Moms for Huckabee that referred to an Alabama for Huckabee blog post.  (Link to blog’s main page.  Link to the post, Alabama, Let’s not roll over and play dead yet!) 

Hat’s off to Diana!  Like her, you can be the eyes and ears for the pro-Huckabee blogosphere.  So-called, “alternative media” (the blogosphere, talk radio, podcasting, viral video, etc.) is only way conservatives can even begin to “level the playing field” in terms of the mainstream media.  During the Florida GOP debate, we saw how Governor Huckabee was treated — in terms of time alloted to speak.  MSNBC, certainly did what they could to stop Mike’s message from reaching a large audience.  It is up to us to bypass the mainstream media, by any means necessary, and deliver Mike’s message.

Yesterday, Governor Huckabee’s interview with Jorge Ramos aired on the program Al Punto, a Spanish-language Sunday morning news program, much like Meet the Press.  The interview was conducted in English, recorded at the Univisión Miami studio, then Spanish-language translations were dubbed over the original audio.  Huckabee was scheduled in between John McCain and Mitt Romney who appeared on the same program.  Originally, efforts were made to have Governor Huckabee appear on a Spanish-language morning news and variety program, much like the US mainstream media’s Today (MSNBC), Good Morning, America (ABC News), Fox & Friends, etc.  However, time constraints and the rapidly approaching primary precluded this.  The Sunday morning news format appearance, while it does allow for much greater depth, has an audience limited to “news junkies” - regardless of the language.   A morning news show appearance would have been much shorter, but it would have reached an entirely different audience.

Ramos, is an excellent journalist (biography) whose high standards reflect well on Spanish-language news reporting in the US.  A native of Mexico City, he pursued post-graduate studies at the University of Miami after immigrating to the United States.  He is also an accomplished, award winning author.  For almost 15 years, he’s been the principal newscaster for Noticiero Univisión.  He did his homework when it came to Governor Huckabee.  His first question was directed at the in-state tuition question.  (See our blog post on the same subject.)  Here’s a partial list of the books that he’s published.   Most interestingly, he released an “audiobook” in 2004 entitled: “The Latin Wave: How Hispanics will Choose the Next President of the United States.”  Perhaps he won’t be ignored by English-speaking media in the next election cycle!  His words, more than astute punditry, seem almost prophetic today.

Governor Huckabee joins members of the Florida legislative leadership, including Speaker of the Florida House Marco Rubio, State Senator Alex Diaz de la Portilla, and State Representative David Rivera, and other members of the community for coffee at Little Havana’s well-known restaurant (link is to map), Versailles , located at 3555 SW 8th St., at 11:00am today.

Mike’s opponents may criticize him for “only” being a governor from “small Southern state,” but he is a “quick study.”  During his 10-years as governor, the Huckabee administration, from time-to-time sought export markets for Arkansas’ rice crop — including Castro’s Cuba.  (Let’s not forget that even Ronald Reagan wouldn’t use food and starvation as an instrument of foreign policy when dealing with North Korea.)  However, now that he is a presidential candidate, he has openly stated that his national responsibilities go far beyond agricultural trade and require his strong anti-Castro, anti-Chavez, anti-Communist positions that are crucial components of his overall national security policy.   He has sought out the advice of Cuban-American leaders which have had key roles in designing his Latin American foreign policy positions.

Reports that the Huckabee campaign was “abandoning” Florida have been greatly exagerated.  (We wouldn’t be surprised that these reports originated from some of Mike’s opponents.  But that’s OK, he’s the only candidate that has run against and beat the Arkansas Clinton machine twice.  So, he’s used to such tactics — just not from fellow Repulbicans.)

CNN published the article: Huckabee struggles to keep “scrappy little army” in fight.   Coming from CNN, “scrappy little army” is a compliment.  Romney just has to open his checkbook to keep his campaign humming.  In Florida, Mike is turning to us out of necessity.  Let’s not disappoint him — too much is at stake.

John McCain, having “won” in South Carolina with 33% in a field of seven became the ostensible “front runner” for the Republican nomination according to many pundits in the mainstream media.  (McCain’s two “victories” were in states, New Hampshire and South Carolina, where Independents can easily participate in the Republican primary.  Did McCain really win the Republican vote?  As he competes in states with more restrictive rules, his frontrunner status will be a liability.)  The “Palmetto State” was an important state for Governor Huckabee since there was the expectation that he should win due to the large number of evangelical Christians.  It was the “make or break” state for Fred Thompson, who by waiting until after the South Carolina primary to leave the campaign may have, unintentionally, done conservatives a huge disservice in this election.  But what’s done is done, and we have to move on.  January 29th is very close and we must make every day count.

As Huckabee supporters in Florida, what does Mike’s South Carolina 2nd place finish mean, now that it is combined with Fred Thompson’s leaving the race, and a generally left-leaning, somewhat hostile press in the Sunshine State?  Plenty.

First, the facts on the ground for the Florida primary are the following:

1. It is a “winner take all state” in terms of delegates.  Second place means nada in terms of delegates.  However, a second place finish for Mike would still be considered “a victory.” The Republican Party is reducing the number of delegates from Florida as “punishment” for our early primary this year, but we still have a considerable number.
2. Although the reduced number of Florida delegates and the fact that second place equals zero delegates, the political and symbolic importance of Florida is enormous.  Florida, unlike other Southern states, is seen as a more diverse, and liberal, state especially in terms of its Republican primary voters.  This is why Rudy Giuliani thought waiting until our primary was a viable strategy.  (He probably doesn’t think so now.)  If Mike were to do well here, it would enhance his perceived “electability” for the national election enormously — a viable candidate outside of the Southern “Bible Belt.”
3. Florida is a LARGE state, in other words it is EXPENSIVE to campaign statewide.  There are many major media markets, multiple large circulation newspapers, etc.  “Door-to-door” campaigning by any candidate is just not possible at this point with very little time left before the election.  Governor Huckabee’s ability to leverage campaigning at public events has even caught the attention of the of liberal New Republic, in their article: “Huckabee’s Effective Mooching Strategy.”
4. The press is already salivating over the possibility of Governor Huckabee’s abandoning Florida to concentrate on states where his limited financial resources, smaller mass media markets, are more likely to win Huckabee delegates.  Of course, the liberal media would portray this as a conservative “retreat.”  Even if only partially true, this makes our role as Mike’s grassroots supporters even MORE important.  (Miami Herald, PowerLine blog)

So, how should we proceed in these final days leading up to the Florida primary?

1. Go online and contribute, get your family members, friends, etc. to do so — challenge them to do so.  No, you may not be able to contribute enough to offset the huge financial advantages of Mitt Romney and other candidates, BUT DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF A $5, OR $10, CONTRIBUTION.  First, pundits, FEC reports, etc. also report the NUMBER of contributors, not just the amounts.  Large numbers of small contributors are seen as indicators broad grassroots support and increased “electability.”
2. Educate yourself thoroughly about Mike’s record.  Be familiar with the most common attacks and “charges” leveled against Governor Huckabee.  The campaign website position papers are excellent sources as well as the “Truth Squad” reports.  Obviously, it is impossible to know “everything” on every issue.  However, in many cases, just pointing out that Mike was the first Republican governor in Arkansas since Civil War reconstruction which put him in the position of having to lead while dealing with a frequently hostile Democratic legislature for over 10 years makes the point that he had to reach compromises in order to successfully govern — a similar position to what may be the case for Mike on Innauguration Day 2009.  Many times his “tax increases” that he is accused of engineering — were prompted by voter referendum in response to decaying state infrastructure and an educational system that ranked near the bottom of all the 50 states.  He cut, or eliminated, taxes nearly 100 times while governor.  As Latino supporters, be up to date on Mike’s immigration policy and record.  (See our post on in-state tuition for illegal aliens.)
3. Do not be disheartened if Governor Huckabee does not spend every waking moment on winning Florida — a large, winner take all state, as previously mentioned.  The presidential primaries occur in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Gaum.  His advisors have to figure out how to get as many delegates as possible.  At some point, it may be to his advantage (and ours) to concentrate elsewhere.  This should not derail our efforts.  The more delegates that Mike can gather, the better his chances of achieving the nomination.  There is a very real possibility of NOBODY having enough delegates for the nomination outright which will lead to a “brokered” convention.   (Does anybody remember Latino actor Jimmy Smits, playing candidate Matt Santos, and the “brokered convention” episode in West Wing?  It’s worth renting at Blockbuster.)  The more delegates Mike has, the better position he’ll be in at the convention to promote his candidacy and conservative principles.
4. Many of us have concentrated our personal efforts on those people with whom we are most comfortable discussing the volatile subject of politics.  For many of us, these are people we have met and known through church.  This is wonderful.  However, we must stop “preaching to the choir.”  The media has frequently portrayed Governor Huckabee as one-dimensional candidate with support only among evangelical Christians.  A strong showing in Florida would go a long way toward dispelling this image.  Likewise, we must broaden our efforts to reach Florida’s largely secular electorate.  The issue that immediately comes to mind is Governor Huckabee’s support of the “Fair Tax.”  “Eliminating the IRS as we know it” differentiates Mike from the other candidates and has widespread appeal.   Familiarize yourself with the Governor’s tax policy and the Fair Tax.

There’s less than a week to go to the Florida primary.  We cannot stop now.  Now, go make that contribution. 

Mirando lo que está ocurriendo en nuestra nación y lo que se ve en los mercados internacionales parece que nos estamos moviendo vertiginosamente de la R (recession) a la D (depression).

Los miles de millones que se quieren invertir para levantar la economía no pueden hacerlo porque en realidad eso lo que hace es hundirla más. La razón es que ese dinero no existe es “fiat money”.

Cuando el desenlance final ocurra (quizás antes de la inauguración del nuevo Presidente) yo quiero tener de presidente una persona que sea humana, que trate de protegerme de los grandes intereses que en su afán de sobrevivir me van a tratar de exprimir hasta la muerte.

Huckabee probó tener compasión por su pueblo en sus años como Gobernador de Arkansas.

Ninguno, repito ninguno de los otros candidatos tanto en el Partido Republicano como en el Demócrata, se aproximan a Huckabee en esta categoría porque se deben a los grandes intereses que los respaldan.

El pueblo tiene la última palabra, ser manipulados por los grandes intereses y votar por uno de sus candidatos o votar por quien tiene probada preocupación por ellos.

Ahora mas que nunca debemos mantenernos unidos y no dejar de hacer campaña y votar en la Primarias el Martes, Enero 29.  He aquí el siguiente análisis de la situación presente.  Estamos presenciando las  elecciones más fluidas que han ocurrido en muchos años.  En estos momentos, no tenemos un candidato republicano que sea en verdad el líder en estas elecciones. Ahora que el Senador John McCain ganó las elecciones en Carolina del Sur esto le ha dado un empujón para las Primarias en Florida.  Sin duda alguna, Rudy Giuliani se encuentra en una situación más precaria hoy día pues muchos de sus votos serán votos para McCain. Esto quiere decir que el numero de votos con que contaba Giuliani se van a dividir entre Giuliani, McCain y  Romney.  Esto favorece a Huckabee.Mientras tanto el voto Cristiano permanece firme apoyando a Huckabee. Tomando esto en cosideracion, el voto de los cristianos en el Estado de la Florida ha tomado una posición clave en el resultado de las elecciones en el Estado.  Los cristianos estamos unidos y si nos mantenemos unidos podemos obtener la victoria para  Huckabee en Florida.  En vista de esto, es importante seguir haciendo una campaña intensa en busca de mas votos para Huckabee. No debemos bajar la guardia,  o sentirnos desalentados, por que Huckabee tomó el segundo lugar en Carolina del Sur. Al contrario, pensemos que Dios ha tenido un propósito en esto para darnos mas energía y salir victoriosos cuando las posibilidades no eran favorables.  Nuestro Dios es un Dios que hace posible de lo imposible y mientras nuestra fe este firme, el provee para nuestra causa.  Acuérdense que Huckabee no tenia ninguna posibilidad de ganar ninguna de las primarias hace varias semanas atrás y no fue así.Ahora mas que nunca debemos doblar nuestros esfuerzos en  busca de nuevos votos y un compromiso por parte de los cristianos de salir el Martes, Enero 29 a votar por Huckabee.

Cuando nos convertimos en cristianos, hemos nacido nuevamente y tomamos una nueva ciudadanía en el Reino de Dios. Ahora bien, mientras estamos de este mundo, y somos ciudadanos americanos, debemos tomar una posición activa en los asuntos que afectan a nuestras familias como son las leyes, los servicios públicos, el cuidado médico, la economía del país, la política, el costo del petróleo, el costo de vida y otros.

No debemos permanecer indiferentes y dejar que todo lo que nos rodea se derrumbe por la apatía y dejar que el León Rugiente nos devore por no defendernos y no pelear por cosas que afectan nuestro futuro, a nuestras familias, a nuestros hijos o las instituciones de gobierno.

Sin duda alguna debemos orar por las cosas que nos afectan, pero como Cristianos debemos también tomar una posición definida y de batalla en defensa de nuestra familia, al derecho Pro Vida, al derecho de orar en las escuelas, a presentar el nacimiento de Jesús en el pesebre en lugares públicos, al derecho a recitar el juramento a la bandera en las escuelas, la presencia del nombre de Dios en nuestra constitución y en lugares públicos y muchas mas.

No debemos permanecer de espectadores parados en la acera y dejar que el diablo se apodere de nuestras instituciones. Queridos hermanos, debemos estar unidos para defender nuestra fe, nuestros principios y nuestros derechos como ciudadanos. Debemos apoyar a candidatos que nos representen en la Casa Blanca, en el Congreso, en el Estado e instituciones públicas locales que compartan nuestras ideas y defiendan nuestra fe.

El libro de Proverbios nos enseña sobre la sabiduría que Dios nos ha dado, pues usemos esa sabiduría en la defensa de nuestra fe y nuestro país. Pongámonos la coraza y levantemos la espada en defensa de nuestros principios y derechos como ciudadanos de este país, el cual Dios nos ha dado.

En estas elecciones primarias, debemos unirnos para apoyar al candidato a la presidencia que comparta nuestra fe e ideales. Por eso hoy, te pedimos tu apoyo para Mike Huckabee para Presidente. Únete a nuestra cruzada, no te quedes en tu casa y el Martes, Enero 29, VOTA EN LAS PRIMARIAS POR MIKE HUCKABEE.

With the rapidly approaching Florida primary election, January 29th, and the even closer South Carolina contest, time is very short.  (Welcome to all of our new online friends in South Carolina!  – Bienvenidos a todos de nuestros nuevos amigos en linea  de Carolina del Sur!)  The news from Michigan tonight was no surprise; but considering that Romney outspent Mike 50 to 1 to win in his homestate, the results were not terribly discouraging, either.

***Blog Editor’s Update***  Judging by the number of e-mail responses and questions about these t-shirts locally and from across the country; there is a lot of interest in this topic.  It is obvious that the initial estimate of “a couple of dozen” t-shirts for just our own Meetup group was a big underestimation of the interest in Mike Huckabee t-shirts.  Tonight my 11 year old daughter and I hope to put the final touches on the producion of these t-shirts so that we can increase our capacity.  We hope to perfect the process and maybe even post an instructional video.  If time permits Thursday, January 17th, we’ll head up to Rodney Roger’s Meetup Group gathering in Aventura.  Rodney is the Miami-Dade co-chair of Huckabee for President and he’ll be participating in our “caravan” and Dade County gun show activities this weekend.  Also, Huckabee field representative, Daniel Diaz, will be speaking Thursday about how we can help Mike become our next President.

Aunque esto aplica a todos los ciudadanos/votantes, porque lo hago en Español me dirijo a los hispano-americanos de la nación en este artículo:

Todos los ciudadanos de los Estados Unidos confrontamos una decisión muy crítica en las elecciones del 2008.  Nos confronta una crisis nacional de cambios absurdos y amorales que nos pudieran  transportar a un destino irracional, de perversión moral  y de pérdida de los derechos y protección que la Constitución nos  garantizó cuando se estableció nuestra Republica Libre y Soberana.    Hablo de los derechos que culminan en la libertad, la búsqueda de felicidad y justicia para todos.   Hablo también de la defensa nacional, de los principios morales en que este país fue fundado, de la unión de la familia y del matrimonio, de la protección a la vida y educación de nuestros hijos, de la crisis monetaria de este país, etc.   

Después de analizar a cada uno de los candidatos a la presidencia y estudiar en detalle la agenda de cada uno de ellos, y habiendo visto la resurgencia de Mike Huckabee, quien fue Gobernador de Arkansas hasta recientemente, y anteriormente habiendo dedicado la primera etapa de su vida de adulto a ser  Pastor, he llegado a la conclusión que el combina todos los factores más importantes para  el servicio a nuestra nación.

Mike Huckabee enumera con sinceridad total y ahinco sus planes de devolverle a los ciudadanos una América libre y de pleno desarrollo proveyéndole a todos los ciudadanos de la clase media y pobre la oportunidad de estudio y la oportunidad para crear sus propios negocios y sus mejorías económicas.  Mike Huckabee cambiará el existente sistema de contribuciones al gobierno (IRS) creando el ya muy  discutido y estudiado programa de impuestos sobre el consumo; simplemente esto significa que los salarios, ganancias y entradas económicas de cada persona estarán libres de impuestos.  Los estudios y análisis de este plan concluyen que el plan beneficiará a los individuos o familias  y a la industria, porque le darán la oportunidad y facilidad a la clase trabajadora para su desarrollo  y bienestar económico.  Los impuestos estarán solamente añadidos a las compras de los consumidores, y proporcionalmente a razón del costo de la mercancía que éste decida comprar.   Podremos ver también un resultado positivo eminente cuando pensamos que la industria Americana ha decidido mudar sus plantas de producción y desarrollo a otros países buscando el ahorro de impuestos;  este método positivamente atraerá de nuevo a nuestra industria a regresar a nuestro país , con el resultado de que la industria privada podrá expandirse, creando más empleos, más producción, más tecnología y  mucho más desarrollo de productos nuevos, etc. 

Quisiera añadir aquí que el amor y respeto a nuestro creador, el nombre de Dios, la fe, la bondad y guía de bien todo ser humano,  la brújula que guía toda nuestra vida en nuestros principios y labor en la tierra, por y para nuestros hijos y las generaciones del futuro se está perdiendo … se esta esfumando con lo que algunos nos quieren inculcar al poner como excusa el progreso de la civilización.   Mike Huckabee es un gran líder devoto a los principios humanos, a la fe Cristiana, base de la fundación de nuestra nación en 1776.  Es nuestro deber mantener y luchar por esos principios y por eso entre muchas otras cosas, la campaña de Mike Huckabee merita nuestra atención.

Mike Huckabee, presenta un elemento brillante y único en comunicación y claridad que no existe en ningún otro candidato.  El declara que su posición republicana es una posición Vertical, y critica las posiciones horizontales  de izquierda o derecha de otros candidatos.

Sus convicciones son claras con respecto a la defensa del país. Su política exterior estaría basada no solo en que siguiéramos siendo la potencia militar más grande del mundo y que nuestros adversarios nunca dudaran de nuestra voluntar de usarla en defensa de nuestro país sino también permanecer conscientes de la necesidad imperiosa de coordinar nuestros actividades  en este respecto con otras naciones.  El reconoce el momento crítico internacional que estamos atravesando y muestra extrema confidencia de que el, junto con expertos de política y defensa internacional, afrontarán y establecerán parámetros y medios que resolverán , negociaran  y establecerán  valores de protección común entre todos los países  que aspiran a la paz y a la convivencia mundial . 

Por favor, hagan su diligencia, naveguen por los websites de Mike Huckabee, algunos creados por individuos como Ud. y yo, quienes reconocemos la urgencia y el peligro inmenso de una elección equivocada.   Encontraran  videos (películas cortas) de entrevistas, conversaciones y opiniones de esta campana.   También podrán leer muchísimos artículos que le traerán claridad sobre los objetivos de Mike Huckabee.

One of the big issues in this election is illegal immigration with most Republicans favoring strict enforcement, enhanced border security (”the fence,” biometric identification documents, augmentation of the Border Patrol, etc.), and no immigration policy or reform that could be considered “amnesty” and, as such, encourage further illegal immigration.   Actually, these ideas form the cornerstone of Governor Huckabee’s immigration policy.

As if on cue, Mitt, Senator McCain, Rudy and their “spin-meisters” are endlessly repeating their anti-Huckabee talking points when it comes to immigration.  This would be fair enough - if based on the issues with an honest and complete review of a candidate’s record.  However, one of the most-often repeated items mentioned when attacking Governor Huckabee on his immigration policy record goes something like this: “Not only did Mike support in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants, he wanted to give them scholarships!  And now he’s denying he ever did it!”

Mitt has devoted an entire “attack page” on his campaign’s website to this topic.  In effect, Mr. Romney is trying to manufacture a scandal by word parsing that would make the Clintons proud.  Needless to say, on the surface, this is a political “bomb” with any voters who have children, plan to have children, or have any family member who may require financial help as they pursue higher education.  These voters are not going to be receptive to hearing Governor Huckabee’s ideas and positions if they are convinced that he ”supported special tuition breaks for illegals.” (emphasis ours) as mentioned on the Romney attack page.  Further, if allowed to continue and unchallenged, Mike’s opponents will frame his past policy as pandering to the Latino vote at taxpayer expense and then lying about it. 

However, if the in-state tuition issue and Mike’s record are examined, or even just briefly thought about objectively; it becomes clear that the Governor’s record is a fine example of the decision making that kept him in office for over 10 years - leaving office with one of the highest approval ratings of any outgoing governor in the nation.  As Mike’s grassroots supporters, we must able to quickly and clearly respond to these attacks against Mike on the emotional issue of immigration.  As his Hispanic grassroots supporters, there will be more attention paid to what we say on this subject.  Fortunately, in our South Florida group we have a number of members who have lived in Arkansas, or the surrounding states, when this controversy was playing itself out in Arkansas during the Huckabee administration. Los enemigos de Huckabee no pierden la oportunidad de mencionar que el, es un “subidor de impuestos” empedernido.

Si tenemos en cuenta que Arkansas es un estado pequeño y pobre, entonces podemos evaluar si las acusaciones tienen mérito o en realidad tenemos que decir que Huckabee hizo una labor increíble teniendo en cuenta los recursos que el estado tenía y la condiciones políticas imperantes .

Arkansas en el año 2006 tenía el número 48 en la nación (antepenúltimo) con respecto a entradas personales.

Debido las pobre situación económica del estado, este recibe $1.40 del gobierno federal por cada dollar que contribuye comparado con California, Nueva York o Massachusetts que reciben alrededor de $0.80.

Un punto importante acerca de Arkansas es que la mayoría absoluta (75% 0 más) de sus líderes políticos son Demócratas o sea, no es terreno nada fácil para ningún Republicano.

Durante la Administración de Huckabee, la legislatura Demócrata de Arkansas aún durante períodos de malas condiciones económicas (menos entradas por concepto de impuestos) siempre insistió en que se mantuvieran los servicios del gobierno en vez de cortarlos.

Es encomiable que Huckabee hubiera pudiera cortar los impuestos en noventa ocasiones diferentes.

Cuando Huckabee empieza su período de gobernador, Arkansas es un estado que es historicamente conocido como poseedor de bajos impuestos, pobre educación y pobre transportación (incluyendo carreteras en pésimo estado).

Es claro que el tuvo que aprobar la subida de los impuestos para mejorar la educación y las carreteras.

Y también es claro que lo que el aumentó fue superior a lo que cortó.

Pero también es claro que durante su período de gobierno, los aumentos de impuestos fueron presentados y aprobados no solo por su legislatura sino también por los votantes que lo reeligían cuando venían las elecciones.

Muy notable y digno de elogio es que siendo Republicano en un estado muy Demócrata el pudo lograr no solo que el pueblo lo reeligiera sino que promovió exitosamente pasos conservadores como rechazar el matrimonio de homosexuales el cual fue aprobado por 74% de los votantes.

La capacidad de persuación de Huckabee es muy necesaria para nuestro país en este momento en el cual los Republicanos y los Demócratas funcionan como “perros y gatos”.

Tenemos situaciones extremadamente graves que se avecinan y necesitamos una persona con la sabiduría de Huckabee para lidiar con ellas.

Hoy, otra vez, en locaciones múltiples por Miami, equipos de “Street Rally” (como la foto de abajo) salieron a la calle para demonstrar el apoyo para Mike Huckabee en el Sur de Florida - especialmente en la comunidad hispana.

Again today, in multiple locations throughout Miami, “Street Rally” teams (like the one pictured below) were “taking it to the street” in order to demonstrate the support for Mike Huckabee in South Florida — especially in the Hispanic Community.
